Pattern for a cozy turtleneck wearable in 3 ways/modelo para gola alta 3 em 1

Fiz isto nas férias... estas que tirei na semana passada...

I made this on my holidays last week...

Material:

2 novelos de lã regia... de 50 gr cada

agulhas para meias nº 2.5 mm

pattern:

Cast 180 stitches on one needle (2.5mm) and divide these stitches through 4 needles...

you can use long sock needles, because you're going to knit in circle...

purl 2 knit 2 all around the first row.

second row and rest, are the same... 104 rows.

last row is the finish line... so just purl 2 together, put stitch back on left hand needle, and continue to do this until there are no more stitches on the needle...

to make a nice finish, crochet over the edge...

since the first row looks elastic from the casting, and the last one is not, crocheting the last row makes a nice finish...

Como fazer:

montar 180 malhas.

dividir malhas em 4 agulhas de meias...

trabalhar em circulo para não existir costura.

duas malhas meia MM, duas liga ML em toda a primeira fila.

nas 104 seguintes fazer igual... MM onde é meia, ML onde é liga... para fazer tipo coz.

na ultima fila, matar duas, voltar a colocar a malha na agulha da mão direita, tricotar duas, etc, até não haver mais malhas nas agulhas.

Fiz um acabamento em tricot no final, para ficar mais bonito... assim tambem abre mais o cano, para assentar bem no pescoço.

não sou pro... espero que tenham entendido.

Entretanto, espreito na net este livro, que vi na livraria 107, e tenho de comprar... não fosse eu adepta de tudo o que se assemelhe a cartas ou correio em geral...

Gosto desta revista quase tanto como gosto de tecidos... e lãs... e adivinhem?! Fala de tecidos e lãs e como se fazem e onde se fazem e quem... e fala tambem de crafters, não dos como eu mas dos a sério... e ainda por cima cabe no meu novo mini saco... tenho de fazer mais, talvez, para vender...
I like this magazine almost as much as i like fabric and yarn... and guess what?! its all about fabric and yarn and how they are made and where... and about crafters... not like me, real crafters... Oh... and it fits in my small tote... yes, i should make some more of these totes... for sale maybe.

Estava vento mas o calor era bom... enquanto ficava a ver o Rafa na água a fingir que era um tubarão, tive pena de não ter lavado o tricot para a beira do Zêzere... para a semana, quem sabe regresse...
O Rafa está de regresso a casa depois de uma semana de férias...
A capulana, anda sempre no saco, nem eu sabia o jeito que me dava!

It was windy, but the heat was so good... while i was watching Rafa in the water pretending to be a shark, i was sorry i hadn't taken along my knitting to the riverside... maybe next week we'll be back...
Rafa has returned after a week of holidays... how i missed him!
The capulana is always in my bag... i never guested how handy it would be...

knitting your socks-Tricotar meias

I guess if you knit your own socks you'll understand.
I am sitting at this family party and everyone is actually just doing nothing or playing cards.
So then i get bored and i pull out my knitting, entering my quiet world.
When i look up i see twisted faces and i know most women there think i am nuts. Except one girl you actually wants links for handspun yarns and wants to learn knitting (she was an art student); the funny think was this guy who buys a lot of socks. I once went to his house, and he doesn't allow anyone in his house with shoes on, makes you take off your shoes and put on slippers or socks, he has tons of clean ones at his doorstep.
He looks up to me and says, its amazing how you go to the trouble of knitting socks, when you can buy them for nothing.
And i say. But those socks mean nothing.
And he says: you're right. And he gazes at the socks. Then he shows them to this other guy, reads the knitting instructions, and says: its wonderful that you knit them. And i am knitting and thinking: No way i can explain the pleasure of it!
Penso que se fazes as tuas meias entenderás.
Estou sentada numa festa de família e estão todos a fazer nada ou a jogar ás cartas. Estou aborrecida porque já dura dois dias, tiro a malha do saco e entro no meu mundo quieto.
Quando levanto o olhar vejo caras torcidas e sei que a maior parte das mulheres ali acham que sou doida. Só uma rapariga, que tirou artes, se aproxima, pede-me links e diz querer aprender a tricotar.
O engraçado é que um rapaz que compra meias aos montes. Na casa dele é proibido entrar calçado, pelo que tem meias e chinelos lavadinhos à porta.
Olha-me e diz: é incrível quando te dás ao trabalho de fazer meias quando as podes comprar por quase nada.
E eu respondo: sim, mas essas meias não tem qualquer significado.
Ele diz: tens razão.
Olha para as meias, mostra-as, lê as instruções e diz:
é maravilhoso que as faças.
Estou a tricotar e a pensar: não há maneira de explicar o prazer que me dá!

Férias... fare nienti?

Ando dum lado para o outro a gozar o descanso da falta de horários... praia e campo, almoços em casa da mãe... passeios por Lisboa... mas ficar por casa tambem...

Cesta... Basket...

Se há coisas de que gosto é da Praça da Fruta... Ir passear por lá aos Sábados... o Rafa aproveita para ver os animais sem abrigo e eu para umas compras...
Agora que as férias estão quase, quase... e que tenho as coisas quase preparadas, o chapéu e uma capulana para me estender... só me falta que chegue a lã da Retrosaria e as agulhas que a Rosa me recomendou, para fazer as meias de 5 agulhas (se conseguir) e a cesta que ando a namorar, para colocar tudo dentro!

If there are things i like in my city, one is the Fruit market. Going there Saturday mornings... Rafa can check out the homeless animals from the local association , and i go shopping...
Now that my holidays are so close, and that most things are ready, my new hat, my capulana to sit on... all i am waiting for is the yarn i bought at retrosaria, and the needles (5) she recommended for making socks (can i?) and this basket i am drooling at, so i can keep it all!

Tento em vão colocar o meu filho neste hmong vintage que comprei no Ebay... para tirar umas fotos... mas hei-de conseguir, ou terei de usar um boneco:) mas fiquem atentas!

I am trying to convince my son to get in this vintage hmong i bought on ebay... just to take some photos, but i will someday... or i will have to use a doll:) but keep posted!

Boys and dolls

My son likes to play with dolls... although some people are picky about what boys play with, i am guessing it's good for learning, men have responsability too with kids. So, i like watching him feed my massage doll, change his diaper and put him to sleep.

O meu filho gosta de brincar com bonecas. Embora muitos sejam picuinhas em relação aos brinquedos que os meninos escolhem, penso que será um bom treino para o futuro. Gosto de o ver a dar papas, a mudar a fralda, a adormecer o meu boneco da massagem.
